Personal Success Guide of Affiliation: Personal Success Guide Introduction Everybody will confess that life is not as easy as it seems to be, it is full of vicissitudes. Therefore, a successful life requires an individual to eliminate constantly all the hurdles that may stop him/her from achieving the pre-set objectives. In most cases, an individual will be happy at the end of the day when he/she has achieved the daily objectives. It is important to note that a success can only be realized when an individual focuses on the factors believed to be of importance rather than prioritizing on the factors that provide the daily bread. Below is my personal success guide, which I believe can act as a stimulus towards prosperous future without life related stresses and pains. Desire A common definition of desire is simply an individual wish. In this world, everybody has a wish but one common desire for everybody is success. A part from success I would also wish to have more money so that I can meet all of my expenses. In addition, I also desire to have peace of mind, essence of well-being, love, fun, fulfillments, and love. The desire is my driving force, that is to say, it is my motivation, and therefore, it keeps my dreams a live as I strive to realize my goals and aspirations. Up to this point, the desire is like my touchstone that provides the extra energy needed to realize my potential. Intention I believe that if I write down and spell aloud what I want to achieve then I will be able to realize it. By doing this, I tend to have a conviction that I am precisely sending my intentions to the universe. It is widely believed that by being precise and clear in your intention, the universe is most likely to reward you with high power that is helpful in fulfilling your dreams. In my case, I have a diary where I do write down my intentions and achievements on daily basis as a way of success monitoring. Commitment As one of my success factor skills, I do pledge that I will always do everything possible within my capabilities to realize my personal objectives so that I can have a smooth and a fulfilling life. To me, this is what commitment is all about. In most cases, I do not let my ego come between I and my ambitions, I do not find it very difficult to swallow my pride and apologize to those I have wronged. As I succeed, I do not want to accumulate enemies but friends with mutual respect. Furthermore, this success factor skill is vital as it assist in easing an individual mind from the personal life burden (Gray, 1999). Support There is no one in the world that is fully independent, which is evident from the common saying ‘no one is an island’. As I succeed, I would wish to climb the ladder together with likeminded individuals, as a result, I am always ready to offer my support to everybody whenever I can. To be specific, I am involved in charity work where I donate 10% of my total income to finance the education of the orphans as well as the illiterate individuals of the society. By doing this, I am giving back to the society and contributing towards a better future world. This success factor is important because it help me to realize that whatever I own is not only mine but can also benefits the unfortunates in the society (Gray, 1999). Action Successful life is not just centered on activities but accomplishments. My belief is that if I can engage myself in activities that I find to be interesting then I can be very successful. It is not just engaging you with any activity for the sake of it. In addition, I find it necessary to allocate time for my hobbies though irrespective of my busy schedule. In other words, I do find time for myself where I meditate, pray, and take nature walk as I enjoy the beautiful sceneries of our environment (Gray, 1999). Fine-tune Every successful individual will tell you that one of the major hindrances to success is procrastination. I never postpone what I can do today for tomorrow, I always do all my duties and responsibilities whenever I can without hesitation. In addition, my personal deeds are my priority and I do not substitute it with either money or job. Below is a graphical chart representation of these skills and their ratings from one to three. From the chart, it is evident that my ratings as far as my performance in support and fine-tune skills are one and two respectively. This implies that I am just beginning to master the skills on support, in the other hand; I am somewhat familiar as far as my fine-tuning skill of success is concerned. My immediate goal for improving my support skill is to set up a foundation where my donations will be channeled to so that the vulnerable in the society can easily access aid. However, my intermediate goal is to increase my percentage contribution to 15% so that more financial aid can reach the needy in the society (Gray, 1999). Furthermore, my immediate goal for improving my skills in fine-tuning is adopting zero tolerance to procrastination. In addition, my intermediate goal is to come up with a balanced workable schedule for my daily activities. This will enable me to work according to my schedule without hesitation and subsequently will spur the much needed personal and career success. Below is my motivation touchstone quote as undisclosed Facebook friend found the following: “The path to glory is not always a walk in the park. There is a mountain called failure, a ditch by the name confusion, and Speed governors by the name friends, constant fear referred to as enemies, potholes by the name family. Be sure of prison called jobs. However, in case of possession of a spare known as determination, a life bag by the name Perseverance, Insurance cover faith, and an instructor by the name Jesus, you are assured of reaching the destination of success.”- Undisclosed Facebook Friend In conclusion, success in life is just a matter of making necessary adjustments in both the aspects of career and personal life. In this regards, success is measured by the magnitude of adjustments concerning these two aspects. Therefore, it is of great importance for every individual to come up with personal success skills, as this is one of the recipes for a successful and fulfilling life. Reference Gray, J. (1999).
