It is important to sound gracious in any business communication or a request that appears upsetting to grant. A businessperson should tactfully demonstrate politeness and sincerity, and avoid embarrassing the clients during communication or unfavorable requests. The ability to embrace courtesy and respect tends to increase the chances of retaining current clients as well as attracting other new customers. Customers feel appreciated and respected if businesspersons practice courtesy (Ober 100). In this respect, clients will be willing to spend their money and time acquiring items from businesses that appreciate their worth. Fundamentally, client satisfaction depends on feeling about a particular customer service extended to them by the businesses. Therefore, businesses have an obligation to add value by providing excellent customer service. In essence, it is significant to practice friendliness, courtesy, attentiveness, care, and responsiveness when dealing with clients even in situations where their requests seem unfavorable. The aforementioned factors are critical to the success of the business enterprise.
