MISSION MENT & MARKETING RESEARCH BY Mission ment A mission ment is a written proclamation of an organization’s core purpose and focus that normally remains unchanged over time and it must define the existing conditions that justify the project need, the desired end state and the performance expectation which is simply what the organization expects to accomplish. A well stated mission should precisely state the organization history, dream, the value structure of management, the future of the external environment as well as the future corporate resources that will support the corporate mission.

A well elaborated example is the Sharp Healthcare’s mission, “our mission is to improve the health of those we serve with a commitment to excellence in all that we do and our goal is to offer quality care and programs that set community standards, exceed patients’ expectations and are provided in a caring, convenient, cost-effective and accessible manner. This clearly gives a historical and dream purpose of the organization and its value structure and it explains that their existence is mainly to improve health in the society.

The business is well managed so as to serve and give quality services to their patients, and it promises them a future that is caring, convenient and cost-effective.Marketing researchMarketing research is a core functional aspect of any business and it is based on two perspectives which are the vision, mission and organization goals and the other part is the internal/external analysis (Hillestad, 2004) which includes the assessment of the environment, competitors, an internal analysis, market evaluation and a review of marketing activities.

the marketing plan of establishing a surgical center must uncover numerous opportunities and have all the necessary information ,have adequate data, and financial planning issues, building issues and miscellaneous of the surgical center. It provides potential partners information about the expectations, risks and profits of the project as well as the total equity to be contributed for the success of the outpatient surgical center (Lawrence, 2004). The marketing research plan embrace financial, human resource, technological, regulatory ,operational ,analysis of data linked with organization’s strategic plan, marketing strategy, tactical marketing and information system compensations and have to build on the values and mission of the organization.
